Terms of Service
Last updated:
1. The agreement
These terms, together with any order form, are the agreement between you and Emvero. Where an order form and these terms disagree, the order form wins. Using the service is acceptance of them.
2. The service
The service evaluates whether an email address can receive mail and returns a status, a recommended action and the reason codes behind both. It does not deliver messages, and it does not represent that a deliverable result guarantees delivery: acceptance by a mail server is evidence, not proof. A confirmation message remains the only thing that proves control of a mailbox.
3. Accounts and credentials
Access is authenticated. Credentials are issued per integration and may be rotated or revoked individually. You are responsible for keeping them server-side and for activity carried out with them. A credential you believe is exposed is revoked the moment you tell us.
4. Acceptable use
Verification exists to protect delivery and data quality. It may not be used to enumerate mailboxes at a domain, to build or enrich lists of addresses you have no relationship with, or to support unsolicited messaging. It may not be used for anything unlawful, for fraud, or to infringe anybody's intellectual property; and the service itself may not be interfered with - no malware, no probing or scanning for weaknesses, no scraping, and nothing that circumvents a limit or an authentication check. Request volume is bounded per caller and per source network, and patterns consistent with enumeration are treated as abuse regardless of volume. We may suspend a credential being used that way, and we will tell you why rather than leave you guessing.
5. Credits and payment
Credits are bought in advance. A full verification costs at most 10 credits, and a domain check at most 2. The final charge depends on the result and may be lower or zero, as described on the pricing page. Purchased credits expire twelve calendar months after payment is confirmed. The minimum purchase is 100,000 credits. Invoices are issued in EUR, unused credits are refundable within 30 days of purchase, and prices exclude VAT where it applies.
Paddle is the merchant of record for every purchase made here: Paddle sells the credits to you, takes the payment, charges any VAT that applies and issues any refund, and the charge on your statement reads PADDLE.NET*. The payment, billing, tax and cancellation terms that apply to the purchase itself are Paddle's, and are set out in the Paddle buyer terms.
6. Data protection
Processing of personal data is described in the privacy policy and governed by the data processing agreement where one applies.
7. Availability
We target 99.9% uptime each month. Planned maintenance is announced at least 48 hours ahead and runs outside European business hours. Enterprise agreements carry service credits when a target is missed.
8. Warranties and liability
The service is provided as it is described on this site. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free: the availability target above is what we work to, not a promise that no request will ever fail. Verification is evidence and not a guarantee of delivery. Liability is capped at what you paid in the twelve months before the claim, and neither side is liable for indirect or consequential loss.
9. Ownership
Emvero owns the service and everything it is made of - the software, the API, the documentation, the name and the marks. Nothing here transfers any of that to you: an account buys the right to use the service while the agreement runs, and nothing else. The addresses you send and the results we return remain yours.
10. Term and termination
The agreement runs until you close the account, and you may close it at any time. Unused credits are refundable within 30 days of purchase, and stored results are deleted within 30 days of closure.
11. Changes
Changes are published here with a new date at the top. Material ones reach account holders by email at least 30 days before they take effect.
12. Governing law
Turkish law governs the agreement and the Turkish courts have jurisdiction. Nothing here removes a right you hold as a consumer where you live. Questions about these terms, and any notice given under them, reach us through the contact form.
